As an Executive Support Administrator - Supervising Associate, you'll work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources, and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace, and support EY's growth and profitability.The opportunityAs an Executive Support Administrator (ESA) - Vice Chair, you will provide extremely high-level, functionally specialized administrative support to Vice Chair executives of the firm. The work of the ESA is closely aligned with and integrated into the specialized needs, operations, strategies, and business objectives of these top executives and is a highly visible role. You'll manage confidential projects, perform various administrative activities, apply judgment, and identify solutions to overcome barriers and mitigate risks, with accountability to achieve outcomes. You will have frequent interaction with internal and external clients. You'll also act as a daily brand ambassador of firm leadership.Your key responsibilities

  • Support high-level senior executives and act as a trusted advisor
  • Manage complex calendars, expenses submission, domestic/international travel, events, meetings, and conferences
  • Possess and leverage superior knowledge of service line and operational role of the executive
  • Develop workable and cost-effective solutions
  • Balance multiple priorities considering risk, importance, urgency, political impact, and other linkages
  • Understand the key drivers affecting EY and our clients
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with internal, global business, and government leaders and their administrative staff to achieve goals
  • Manage project plans to track milestones and deliverables
  • Independently compose, format, and edit non-technical business documents, including board meeting materials, presentations, and reports
  • Protect confidential/proprietary information
  • Assist leaders and others to resolve conflicts and issues
  • Solicit a constant two-way flow of information from colleagues, customers, and leaders
  • Set up and manage project plansSkills and attributes for success
    • Creative problem solving, applying discretion using general guidelines to interpret unusual circumstances and procedures with defined policy. Demonstrates judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions.
    • Solve complex problems using strong analytical, organizational, and research skills
    • Attention to detail and self-assurance of work quality
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, organize workflow, and collaborate effectively with colleagues
    • Proactively share and leverage knowledge with colleagues
    • Develop solid working knowledge of firm structure, service lines, key personnel, and policies
    • Proactively escalate potential issues
    • Work independently with limited supervisionMinimum qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
      • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience supporting senior leadership in a large corporate environment or firm
      • Ability to work in an EY office or attend EY events
      • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime
      • Light travel may be requiredPreferred qualifications
        • Advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
