seeking a dedicated and caring Patient Assessment Instrument
Coordinator (IRF-PAI) to be part of an experienced team that brings
decades of experience in providing the most innovative care. This
position coordinates the data collection on the Inpatient
Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI),
ensures the presence of supporting documentation, and provides
staff education to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines. The
IRF-PAI Coordinator organizes all efforts for immediate issue
resolution concerning FIM and Quality scoring. The IRF-PAI
Coordinator conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI related data, and
actively collaborates with coding, nursing, therapy and case
management to ensure accurate and timely IRF-PAI completion. The
IRF-PAI Coordinator also oversees the development of tools that
assist in compliance and quality reporting for the Inpatient Rehab
Unit (IRU).Qualifications Current CT licensure in nursing or allied
health profession required (PT/OT/SLP/PTA/COTA).Associate's or
Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum 2 years' experience in
rehabilitation or closely related field required, inpatient
rehabilitation specific experience highly preferredExperience with
FIMs and IRF-PPS preferredKnowledge, Skills and Ability
