In partnership with the University of Bridgeport, Goodwin University is seeking candidates for the position of Development Associate. The Development Associate works under the direction of the Vice President for University Initiatives & Advancement, focused on providing office, process and system support for all Development functions as they relate to University constituents including, however not limited to, Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Events and Stewardship. The position will be located in Bridgeport, CT.
Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

Communications with internal and external constituents through all mediums Net Community manager Responsible for all changes to individual records: milestones, changes of address, phone, etc. Coordinates departmental inventory and purchasing Maintains shared drive and insures data integrity Responsible for gift entry and all university business office coordination Manages pledge reminder process Coordinates all stewardship functions with professional staff Attends University and community gatherings as needed. Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed.
Other Functions:
Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates. Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends. Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 1-3 years of fundraising and database experience in a nonprofit environment. Strong self-management skills; able to work independently to achieve goals. Work with computer applications for prospect management and donor contact.
