Your Name Describe a day in the life of your role in sales. 1:17 Hey everyone. My name is Lauren Johnson and I'm a health systems implementation specialist for the immuno diagnostic division of the Specialty Diagnostics Group. My role is to sell a blood allergy test that rules allergy in and out. And I work in the Boston area with the big health systems who have our instrument called the Phadia, which can run these blood allergy tests. So essentially I am pushing for a clinical demand of ordering this testing. So I go each day to pediatrics, I go to family medicine, internal medicine, pulmonology, and allergy offices, to make sure that they know how to order the tests, what types of patients the tests should be ordered on. And essentially when I go into the office, I'm trying to set up certain launches to go over all the details, the right codes and everything that they need to know about how this testing is beneficial. And I love this role because I feel like an educator and I don't feel like I have to push for something because I can tell that most of these providers are seeing the value in what this can bring to their patients. So I love this role and I highly recommend you all pursuing a medical device sales role.
