Provides direct nursing care in accordance withestablished

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the
ConnecticutDepartment of Public Health obtained prior to hire date

One or more of the following:
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American
(AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job
Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Red
Crossobtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job
Associate degree required, BSN preferred and two years
ofMedical-Surgical experience Critical Care experience
All New Graduate RNswill participate in a year-long Nurse
Residency Program (NRP) with a curriculumproven to improve
decision-making competence and confidence, nursing leadershipand
critical thinking skills, and provide a higher-level of overall
supportduring the time of transition to professional practice.
The Nurse ResidencyProgram offers monthly seminars that will
compliment nursing orientation andthe unique training provided to
