Capital’s majority investment in 2024. role overview We are seeking
a highly organized and proactive Logistics Analyst to join our
operations team. In this role, you will work closely the supply
chain and sales organizations along with external logistics
partners to execute global shipments, optimize shipping costs, and
support our supply chain operations globally. You’ll thrive in a
collaborative environment and play a key role in ensuring
efficient, cost-effective logistics workflows at a fast growing
company. key responsibilities Coordinate and schedule shipments
with domestic and international vendors and freight carriers.
Monitor shipment timelines and proactively resolve delays or
issues. Analyze shipping costs and identify opportunities to reduce
expenses without compromising service levels. Develop and maintain
strong relationships with logistics partners, carriers, and
vendors. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to
logistics performance, cost, and delivery. Prepare regular reports
and insights on logistics operations and cost trends. Collaborate
with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, Finance) to support
cross-functional logistics needs. Ensure compliance with relevant
import/export regulations, documentation, and customs requirements.
Support continuous improvement projects to enhance logistics
processes. professional qualifications 1–5 years of experience in
logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field at an
established organization. Strong communication and vendor
management skills. Analytical mindset with ability to work with
data to identify cost savings and performance improvements.
Experience coordinating international shipments required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work effectively in a
hybrid onsite/remote environment. Experience in the consumer goods
industry or related fast-moving product sectors. Experience with
ERP and WMS systems like Business Central, Netsuite or SAP is
preferred Familiarity with customs processes, international freight
terms (Incoterms), and freight rate negotiation. additional
information Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid – 4 days per week in
office) Salary Band: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience and
