Location: 140 Broadway, NY, NY (Hybrid) JOB SUMMARY: Client X is
looking for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to help with the
expansion of our service offerings into cloud-based environments.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineer’s role is to
assist with the design, implementation, management and support of
technology services within various cloud platforms including Azure,
AWS and Oracle cloud. Responsibilities Work in partnership with the
technology teams to act as an advisor to develop cloud-based
architectures to support data, applications, and technologies
across a growing enterprise Responsible for the development of a
robust Cloud Governance model including billing, security, cost
analysis, reporting, capacity planning etc. Create, champion, and
implement standards, processes, and procedures to be used across
the enterprise, in the delivery of key infrastructure support
services Collaborate with development and engineering teams to
identify and evaluate optimal cloud solutions Educate existing
teams on implementation and maintenance of cloud services Develop
and maintain cloud solutions according to security best practices
Monitor and audit security logs and configure and manage alerting
Manage components of the operating and capital budgets Required
Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have a willingness to
work in a dynamic, complex environment, have a solution-oriented
mindset, and demonstrated experience with enterprise IT governance
models, infrastructure architecture, and a solid understanding of
IT security frameworks. The ideal candidate should have: BS degree
in computer science or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of
progressively responsible and relevant experience in cloud
technologies Relevant experience in infrastructure design and
architecture Management of third-party technology service and
implementation partners Experience installing and leading the
adoption of best practice processes, methods, and technologies
Location Requirements Based in New York, NY with occasional travel
to other Client X’s locations
