Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms,
including product engineering, media engineering, quality
assurance, personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.As a
Web Commerce team member, you'll build core sign-up, purchase, and
subscription management experiences for our Web platform.You will
serve as a technical resource, solving sophisticated challenges and
finding opportunities to improve systems, products, and
services.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and project management to translate
requirements into technical specifications and timelines,
partnering with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
- Write and maintain high-quality code through test-driven
development.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing,
and technical investigations.
- Work with Senior and Lead Engineers to develop new
features.
- Partner with UX teams to transform mock-ups into engaging,
accessible web experiences.Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience building highly scalable and performant
modern Javascript/Typescript web applications.
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent work
experience.
- Ability to write well-documented, clear, and robust code.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and browser
environment.
- Experience integrating API specifications and collaborating
with service teams.
- Excellent front-end debugging skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Shipped production React/Node.js applications deployed on cloud
platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of web standards and emerging
technologies.The hiring range varies by location: Seattle, WA and
New York, NY: $120,300 to $161,300; Santa Monica, CA: $114,900 to
$154,100; San Francisco, CA: $125,800 to $168,700. Actual offers
depend on factors like location, experience, and skills.
Compensation may include bonuses and incentives, along with
