position:We are seeking an experienced Payroll Associate with
in-depth knowledge of ADP systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now
to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate
and timely processing of payroll for our multi-state and global
workforce. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a
deep understanding of payroll systems, and the ability to work
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.About the
department:The HR department is responsible for all aspects of
Human Resources, including Business Partnering, Talent & Learning,
Performance & Reward (including Benefits), HR Information Systems,
Talent Acquisition, and Payroll. The team is a dynamic and
high-performing team that has the opportunity to interact with
leadership as well as all employees throughout the employee
lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.Responsibilities:
- Process and manage (semi-monthly / monthly) payroll for over
700 employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local
wage laws.
- Oversee all payroll updates, including new hires, terminations,
pay adjustments, and employee data changes.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to generate customized reports,
troubleshoot discrepancies, and optimize payroll operations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to troubleshoot and
resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage payroll tax filings, voluntary and
involuntary deductions, and garnishments.
- Prepare and analyze payroll-related reports, including general
ledger entries and year-end documentation.
- Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance
inquiries from operational / compliance teams.
- Coordinate with local / global HR team and vendors to ensure
that integrations run accurately and in accordance with the
scheduled timelines.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring
organizational compliance.
- Perform additional duties as required.Qualifications and
Competencies
- 3+ years of experience working in payroll with strong
proficiency utilizing ADP Workforce Now.
- Advanced knowledge of ADP systems and integrations.
- Experience with Workday and understanding of integrations from
vendors to /from Workday.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger
entries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Excel,
ADP GL and ADP Ad Hoc Reporting.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and reconcile payroll data, troubleshoot
discrepancies, and manage out-of-balance conditions.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and work within a
team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and client service skills, both verbal
and written.
- Good time management, problem solving and organizational
skills.
- Working knowledge of relevant payroll laws and
regulations.
- Able to work well under pressure and prioritize and multitask
effectively.
- Someone who can hit the ground running and able to think
outside the box.Salary Range $80,000-$90,000In addition to
