Manager - CT Platform to Employment (P2E) Veterans Program
Classification: Non-Exempt Pay Grade: Grade 1 ($34,99 to $55,600)

talent they need to grow. SUMMARY The Outreach & Recruitment
Coordinator for the program will build a network of resources that
can refer military Veteran participants to the P2E Veteran program.
In this role, the candidate will research and identify colleges,
agencies, American Job Centers, businesses, and Departments within
the State of Connecticut that can be referral sources for this
program. The candidate will guide eligible Veterans through the
application and enrollment process as well as provide case
management as they enter the P2E program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Develop and nurture
relationships within the community that result in eligible military
Veterans enrolling in the P2E Veterans program. Create a strategy
that yields program participants for the P2E Veterans program.
Represent The WorkPlace at events including chamber activities, job
fairs and business expositions. Coordinate and host job fairs,
on/off site visits to establish relationships and identify and
develop a pipeline of Veteran participants. Maintain participant
records to include eligibility documents, assessment forms,
referral logs and other documents as required. Other duties may be
assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for own work and
not required to direct or supervise other personnel but may
occasionally instruct or show another employee how to perform the
work. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an

outreach campaigns using (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
Excellent phone presence with solid business acumen and email
etiquette Knowledge of CRM systems and comfortable working with
social media and technology Strong organizational skills EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year
college preferred. At least one year of related experience. Sales
experience a plus. COMPUTER SKILLS The ability to understand more
advanced computer skills and be proficient in the knowledge of
software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. OTHER
