Details - Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System - Chemotherapy/Oncology unit with floating to other Med/Surg units as needed - Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30 - Every other weekend required - Holiday coverage required as needed - Charting in Epic (experience required) - Free parking available on-site Requirements - Active CT or Compact RN license currently in hand - Current certifications required: BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy (ONS or ONCC) - Epic EMR experience required - Chemo certification is required for this position - Candidates must not have any prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license - Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Additional Information - Level II Trauma Center within a large academic medical health system - Royal blue scrubs required - Candidates who were previously permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible - Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility - Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted - COVID vaccine required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted - 1 professional reference required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-686916.
