Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a
dynamic operating room environment focused on a diverse range of
surgical cases including orthopedics, cataracts, urology,
gynecology, and cardiology. This contract position offers the
opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit licensed for 122 beds
with a specialty surgical team operating out of five OR suites. Key
Responsibilities: Perform circulating and scrub duties during
surgical procedures with adherence to established protocols.
Utilize EPIC for documentation and manage medications via Pyxis and
Med Room systems. Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia
providers, and ancillary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal
care. Participate in call rotations including one weekday evening
call and one weekend rotation every five weeks. Maintain surgical
attire and follow dress code policies strictly. Adapt to flexible
scheduling with 8-10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, including
evening shift opportunities. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience
including 2 years in the operating room specialty. Current BLS and
ACLS certifications required; national certification for scrub
techs preferred. Comfortable with basic general OR equipment and
willing to learn circulating for C-sections. Effective
communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented
environment. Prior trauma facility or travel experience not
required. Schedule: Monday through Friday shifts, 06:5015:30 or
06:5017:30 for day shifts, 11:0019:30 for evening shifts. Call
schedule includes weekend and weekday evening coverage per
rotation. No weekend-only shifts; schedule accommodates set days
