Job Description OBGYN Physician – Bridgeport, CT (Open to J1

serves. Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board Certified
/ Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) to join its
well-established women’s health team in Bridgeport, Connecticut .
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a balanced mix
of obstetrics and gynecology, supported by experienced nurses,
midwives, and advanced practitioners. The position emphasizes
teamwork, continuity of care, and a patient-first approach. This

Position Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive obstetric and
gynecologic care, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum
services. - Perform office-based gynecologic procedures and manage
inpatient consultations as needed. - Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team including certified nurse midwives, nurses,
and support staff. - Participate in labor and delivery coverage in
coordination with other OBGYNs. - Maintain accurate and timely
documentation within the electronic medical record system. -
Promote preventive health education, wellness initiatives, and
patient engagement. - Participate in departmental meetings, case
reviews, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications -
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. -
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified / Board Eligible in
Obstetrics & Gynecology; eligible for Connecticut medical
licensure. - Experience: Prior experience preferred, but this
position is open to J1 Visa applicants and new graduates.
