experience required Job Requirements — Registered Nurse (RN) /
Travel Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
in New York State - Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a 600 bed
academic hospital with passing competency testing score OR 2 years
of RN experience (no testing required) - Competency test required
within 24 hours of submission (if less than 2 years of experience)
- Epic EMR experience required — experience with inpatient
neurology documentation a plus - Ability to wear navy blue scrubs -
Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills -
Travel candidates only (local candidates from ineligible counties
are not accepted) Responsibilities — Neurology RN / Neuro Unit
Duties - Deliver high-quality nursing care to neurology patients in
the neuro unit as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Perform neurological
assessments and frequent neuro checks; monitor, assess, and
document patient conditions using Epic EMR - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed;
follow established neuro and stroke pathways when applicable -
Educate patients and families about neurological conditions,
treatment plans, and ongoing care - Float to other hospital units
as needed to support clinical operations - Maintain compliance with
hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Why Join
