Job Description Job Description Job Title: Cath Lab Technician (CWR) Location - Bricktown, NJ Position Summary The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for supporting invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures by ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment functionality, and assisting the clinical team throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to established clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities Support safe and efficient delivery of cardiac catheterization services Prepare patients for procedures and assist in maintaining comfort and safety throughout Educate patients on procedures pre- and post-intervention Scrub and assist cardiologists during procedures, demonstrating familiarity with provider preferences Perform scrub tech duties for procedures including LHC, RHC, PTCA, Stent, PTCRA, PTMR, TEC Accurately obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data Maintain aseptic technique and follow universal precautions during all procedures Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all required supplies and equipment are available Maintain procedural logs, technical documentation, and downtime logs Ensure accurate patient identification, consent verification, and documentation completion Handle cine films appropriately, including labeling, storage, retrieval, and mailing Monitor supply inventory, check expiration dates, and maintain appropriate par levels Identify equipment malfunctions or safety hazards and initiate corrective action Follow established policies and procedures for equipment operation, troubleshooting, quality control, and archival systems Maintain efficient room turnover times Schedule Day shift 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required as scheduled Required Experience Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience Experience with Impella and balloon pump devices (required) Permanent pacemaker placement experience (preferred) Experience with Mac-Lab and electronic medical record systems (preferred) Required Certifications & Licensure BLS (required) Radiology Certification (required) IABP Certification (required) Monitor Technician Certification and annual telemetry competency (required) For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
