Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Newark, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,810 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PICU RN in Newark, New Jersey, 07112! Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN – New Jersey Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday); 12-hour shifts Highlights: 19-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with varied acuity levels and patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and step-down patients at 1:3 Opportunity to work with diverse pediatric cases including cardiac, respiratory, neuromuscular, and post-surgical patients EPIC charting system for streamlined documentation May float to Pediatrics and NICU based on skill set and appropriate patient assignments Full interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Social Services Previous travel experience required; ideal for seasoned pediatric critical care professionals Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of PICU critical care experience required; 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred Demonstrated experience with Medtronic pacemakers, telemetry monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care Proficiency in EPIC charting system required Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays during assignment Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced pediatric critical care nurses the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of critically ill children and their families.
