the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to
find a qualified Hospitalist MD in New York! We are seeking a Board
Certified Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in New York.
This assignment begins on Mar 9, 2026, and spans 42 days, featuring
a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm.
The Hospitalist will handle admitting and/or rounding duties in a
closed ICU setting, utilizing Cerner EMR. Job Details Location: New
York Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 LOA: 42 days Provider Type Needed:
Hospitalist Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 12-hour day shifts (7 am - 7:30
pm) Responsibilities and Duties Provide hospitalist coverage,
including patient admission and rounding Manage acute inpatient
care in a closed ICU setting Utilize Cerner EMR for clinical
documentation and patient management Adhere to facility protocols
and standards of care Additional Information Board Certification in
Internal Medicine required New York medical license required at
time of submission Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic
Life Support (BLS) certifications required Must provide a
Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the same month as submission
Provider must not reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
