Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Hackensack, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,306 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601! Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment, with ED experience within the past six months. License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours) Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and personnel. Description: Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs will handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our ED nurses are trained in dealing with trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should be able to prioritize patients' injuries and medical needs accordingly. This is a busy unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Every other weekend and three out of six holidays are required.
