Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/31/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Tele Observation Unit/n/nShift: Nights (36 hours/week)/nWeekend: Every other weekend/nHolidays: At least one winter and one summer holiday depending on contract length/timing/nOn-Call: None/nFloat: To like units only (inpatient telemetry; no specialty units)/n/nJob Summary:/nThe RN is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice. Duties include:/n/nAssessing patient needs and determining care priorities/n/nDeveloping, implementing, and coordinating individualized care plans/n/nPerforming therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care/n/nAdministering medications (cardiac, non-titratable) via ALARIS pumps/n/nDocumenting care accurately in EPIC according to standards and patient acuity/n/nAdvocating for and supporting evidence-based practice and innovations in care delivery/n/nUnit Info & Requirements:/n/nExperience: Minimum 2 years preferred; 5 years ideal/n/nCertifications: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, NIH/n/nSkills: Knowledge of cardiac medications, non-titratable drugs, EPIC EMR, ALARIS drug pumps/n/nSoft Skills: Strong time management; ability to handle high-volume discharges and admissions/n/nScrub Color: Navy Blue/n/nAdditional Notes:/n/nFloating to like units may be required/n/nNo interview panel; individual interviews only About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
