11/17/2025 Shift: 5 x 8s • 40 hours/week Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
with 30% 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM shifts as needed On-Call: 6 weekday and
6 weekend calls in 6-week rotation Position Overview: HumanEdge
Health is seeking a Travel OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center in
Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will be proficient in
high-acuity surgical care, with experience in trauma, orthopedic,
spine, neuro, and other specialty cases. Flexibility to cover
occasional weekend shifts and call responsibilities is required.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide perioperative care for patients
undergoing General, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT,
Neuro (cervical fusion, lumbar laminectomy), Plastics
(abdominoplasty, breast augmentation), GYN, and orthopedic
procedures including total hip and total knee replacements -
Utilize EPIC, SurgiCount, and TECSYS systems (preferred) to
document patient care and track surgical instrumentation -
Collaborate with multidisciplinary OR team to ensure safe and
efficient surgical procedures - Respond to on-call requirements for
weekdays and weekends as scheduled - Assist with patient
assessment, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia recovery
Requirements: Required: - Minimum 3 years of OR experience in a
Level 1 trauma center - Proficiency in General Surgery, Robotics,
Ortho, Spine, Neuro, Urology, ENT, Plastics, and GYN procedures -
Experience with total joint replacement cases (total knees, total
hips – anterior and posterior approaches) - Willingness to work
call as described Preferred: - Previous travel experience - EPIC,
