Overtime: Daily OT after 12 hours (based on fixed); Weekly OT after

Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Attend deliveries and provide
neonatal resuscitation support (NRP required) • Manage NICU
admissions and provide in-house night coverage (with Neonatology
backup) • No invasive procedures required JOB REQUIREMENTS •
Licenses: Active Connecticut Medical License (required) • Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric
Hospital Medicine • DEA: Active DEA Certification (required) •
Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required;
BLS/ACLS preferred • Experience: Prior NICU or newborn coverage
experience preferred • Other Qualifications: Must have clean
background for emergency privileges; must be available for Nov 27
coverage DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide inpatient pediatric
hospitalist coverage, including newborn and NICU patients • Attend
and manage deliveries as required, performing neonatal
resuscitation when needed • Conduct patient evaluations,
admissions, and rounding in collaboration with neonatal team •
Respond to pediatric ER consults as needed (minor and infrequent) •
Ensure appropriate communication and documentation within hospital
systems
