A nonprofit health services network in New York City is actively seeking a new Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Brooklyn and work with their Adult population.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: OngoingSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: 9am to 5pmSetting: Residential FacilityPatient Population: AdultsResponsibilities:The Residential Nurse (RN) will:Coordinate and follow through on provisions of health care services for assigned programsArrange medical services for persons served and issue medical referrals, as neededProvide follow-up on medical problems for persons servedConduct training for staff in medical administration, personal hygiene, basic first aid, dental hygiene, infection control, adaptive equipment, vital signs, signs and symptoms of illness and other in-services as may be necessary to meet needs of persons servedMonitor required staff health records and provide tests in accordance with regulatory agency requirementsProvide immediate first aid with referral to outside emergency services or Private PhysicianParticipate in routine individual case reviews.Prepare & maintain medical documentation on each person served and administer medications, when appropriateProvide first aid and attends to emergency needs of persons servedTransport persons served to appointments, as necessaryPerform other related duties, as requestedQualifications:1+ year of related Nursing experienceGraduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCPR certificationExperience delivering of Community-based Health Services to individuals with Developmental Disabilitiesby Jobble
