specialties.Job DescriptionUnder provider direction, the RN
provides skilled nursing care to patients in a variety of clinical
settings. Scope of responsibility is characterized by use of
nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate human
responses to actual or potential health problems utilizing
appropriate practices, standards, protocols and guidelines. This
position reports to a Practice Manager.Oversees and performs stress
testing in our testing center working under the direct supervision
of, and in collaboration with, a cardiologistResponsible for
administration and documentation of Leqvio injections for
patientsAssist with Joint Commission and Environment of Care
preparation and maintenanceProvides office-based nursing care in
collaboration with providerAssesses physical and psychosocial needs
and environmental factors affecting patients and their families,
formulates nursing plan of care and ensures continuity of patient
care through appropriate nursing evaluation and
interventionCommunicates with provider regarding patient needs,
nursing assessments, and recommendationsTakes direction and
initiates actions (cross/additional training) that will allow
seamless patient careCollects and documents current health status
and medical history and assists in scheduling patient office
visitsReviews patient records, including preoperative records, to
ensure completeness and reviews outstanding issues with
providerDemonstrates independent nursing actions based on
assessment and problem identificationUnder direction of provider,
calls in prescription medications to pharmacies and observes and
documents patient's response to pertinent medicationsDocuments
accurate and ongoing assessment of patient's needs, problems,
capabilities, limitations, progress toward goals, and response to
careTriages telephone calls and displays ability to initiate
appropriate nursing intervention in prompt, precise, and
professional mannerAssists patients and family members or other
clients with concern and empathy; respects confidentiality and
privacyQualificationsCurrent Connecticut RN License
required.Coverage may be required at our other office
locationsPrevious experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting
