Job Summary Rapid Response, or MET, Nurses use their expert nursing skills to enhance the clinical support for patients by providing hands-on care to patients in critical need and professional support to other staff nurses throughout the hospital. Duties include: * Rapid Response to codes, stroke alerts, and MET calls throughout the hospital. * Performs as a clinical expert/resource to maintain and improve nursing practice * Provides consultation to health care providers and others to influence care plans, enhance ability to provide health care and affect change Qualifications * Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. * BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to position start date. * Previous Critical Care RN experience required.
