Job Description:
What you'll need to have--- At least 3 years of previous retail
Safety & Security Management experience, or at least 3 years of
IKEA Risk & Compliance experience, including internal training
programs aimed at developing towards a Risk & Compliance Manager
position.--- Knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and
Local legislation regarding safety, security, and risk in a retail
environment.--- Experience in implementing comprehensive safety and
security programs in a retail setting.--- Experience performing
risk assessments, investigating safety and security incidents,
including theft and fraud, root cause analysis, incident reporting,
crisis management, compliance monitoring, de-escalation training,
and managing vendors.--- Strong interpersonal, communication,
analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention
to detail.--- Candidates in Oregon, New York, and St. Louis, MO,
must be eligible for a security guard license as per local laws,
which is a condition of employment.Your responsibilities--- Hire,
onboard, and train co-workers. Manage resource planning,
performance, and development to ensure a competent team.--- Execute
compliance tasks, including assessments, training, and reporting
related to company policies, laws, and standards such as OSHA, Food
Safety Modernization Act, PCI, data privacy, and others.--- Oversee
safety and security of people and property, identify and mitigate
risks, and communicate safety KPIs.--- Develop and update safety
and business plans, including Safety Action Plan and others.---
Respond to incidents, ensure proper documentation, and lead
investigations related to liability claims and insurance
matters.--- Support internal investigations related to theft,
fraud, harassment, misconduct, and security breaches.--- Lead
physical security programs, conduct audits, and coordinate with
external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance.--- Collaborate
with management on sensitive issues, including misconduct and legal
