About this Position:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing key operational areas within the Parts Distribution Center on various shifts. These areas include inbound and outbound operations and inventory management. This position is also responsible for leading a team of supervisors and associates on a daily basis to run the operation successfully to satisfy customers' needs, seeking out continuous improvement opportunities, and implementing system and process improvements to improve the operation.

Responsibilities include:
* Operations Planning
* Staffing and Development
* Operational Efficiency and Productivity
* Material Handling and Facility Maintenance
* Train, Develop and Lead Supervisors and Associates Qualifications Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
* 1-3 years of experience in distribution, warehousing and/or logistics
* 1-3 years of leadership/supervisory experience

Required Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred

Desired skills:
* Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management and leadership skills
* Ability to analyze plan effectiveness against stated objectives and produce countermeasures when tactics are not achieving desired results
* Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
