  The Accounting Manager will have a central spot in the organization and have the opportunity to influence the role and his/her future development! Our client is looking for someone with a solid technical accounting background, ideally out of a large public accounting firm with hands-on exposure to large international companies. This role is meant for a high performer who enjoys consulting, finance, and strategy; a "change agent" and thought leader would thrive here!
  Primary Responsibilities:
  
  • Accounting and financial reporting
    
  • Assist in the handling and review of payroll and benefits accounting
    
  • Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
    
  • Analyze and provide key figures, including working capital targets and liquidity forecast in collaboration with the finance team
    
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provisions as well as compliance including indirect tax
    
  • Assist in monthly upload of SAP financial data into Hyperion for group accounting consolidation
    
  • Accounting projects in collaboration with the Finance Director
    
  • Prepare lease accounting analysis and journal entries
    
  • Record, monitor, analyze and reconcile fixed assets
    
  • Ensure internal controls are effectively maintained for assigned tasks
    
  • Provide support for the interim and year-end audits
    
  • Recommend improvements to the efficiency of accounting processes and timeliness of deliverables
    
  • Assist with ad hoc projects to support global finance and controlling teams
    Requirements:
    
    • CPA preferred
      
    • 5+ years' experience of general accounting experience.
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
      
    • Strong tech skills including intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
      
    • SAP experience HIGHLY preferred
      
    • SAP s/4 Hana experience is a PLUS
      
    • Strong communication skills with the ability and desire to collaborate and make a daily contribution to the team
