If you have a passion for excellence, an innovative mind, and pride for things well done, we'd love to meet you.Job Description The Quality ControlManager will manage the production quality team, the baker and the sanitation team to ensure quality and food safety are maintained in all steps of the process.Manager the quality control team, the sanitation team and the baker with effective direction and training of quality processes and procedures to ensure the best quality products.Develop and implement statistical process control of the line quality control.Be responsible for the final product quality controls and validation by developing, improving, and implementing methods and testing.Validate and release manufacturing batch records for quality and regulatory compliance (labelling, weights, etc) including USDA productions and Kosher productionsManage and organize all internal inspections, calibration, and verifications as per quality management system schedule and implementation of corrective action plansWork closely with the operation team to monitor, record, and follow up all non-conformities through Root Cause analysis.Work with the management team to develop and implement continuous improvement plans decided following RCAEnsure appropriate implementation of food safety plan throughout the plant and coordinate appropriate associate trainings (CCP, GMPs, Food Hygiene)Manage and maintain plant sanitation programs, including master sanitation schedule.Manage the environmental monitoring plan as well as finished products and raw materials monitoring plans.Be a member of the food safety team.Develop and monitor quality control KPIs and communicate regularly with the management team.Be part of the internal auditing team and do internal audits and follow up on plans of action.Manage the Food defense planGo up and down stairs (where applicable)Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a food science or food related field with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in quality and food safety, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.PCQI Certified a mustInternal auditor trained preferred.Knowledge of SQF or other GFSI standard required trained practitioner preferred.Be trained in food defense.Supervisory / managerial experience requiredContinuous improvement training a plusAdditional Information Lecoq Cuisine provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.PM20PI154424302
