This position is focused on monitoring credit exposure in
People's asset based lending, equipment leasing and mortgage
warehouse lending business lines. The VP Senior Credit Officer
("SCO") works with the SVP, SCO to maintain adherence to each
group's credit policies, maintain conformity with all regulatory
requirements and monitor the portfolios to identify trends and
issues that may develop. In addition, the VP SCO will prudently
exercise their individual lending authority in the granting of
loans and leases and participate as a member of each business
line's credit policy committee.
This position will also work directly with senior management to
seek new and creative ways to manage, monitor and assess all areas
of risk within their business line.
Evaluate loan/lease requests and assist loan officers in the
structuring of transactions.
Decision loan/lease requests within their individual lending
Participate in their respective business line's local market
Work with SVP, SCO to identify, assess and monitor current or
potential problems within each business line's portfolio. Assist
the SVP, SCO in tracking and interpreting analytics, with the goal
of reducing delinquencies, non-accruals, classified and criticized
assets and charge-offs.
Support the SVP, SCO 's effort to manage all of the regulatory
requirements in Risk Management, including adherence to
recommendations made by PUB's Loan Review Department, Audit
Department, Compliance Department (including
BSA/AML/OFAC/Beneficial Interest) the OCC and FDIC.
Assist the SVP, SCO in leading the credit policy process for the
portfolio, including writing the credit policies for each business
line, assuring that proper credit controls are in place to satisfy
safety and soundness standards established by our banking
regulators. Monitor adherence to such policies and ensure
exceptions are limited, adequately identified, justified, properly
documented and approved.

Minimum undergraduate degree or at least 7+ years of equivalent
