As a Energy Efficiency Insulation Technician, you are critical in our mission to both help the environment and save our customers money on their energy bills. You will install blown-in cellulose and fiberglass into walls, attics, basements, and crawl spaces. You will also conduct blower door tests to evaluate whether buildings are airtight. You must be capable of performing physical work both indoors and outdoors. Salary Range for this role is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Essential Job Functions Assist, as needed, with installing insulation using a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to: measuring devices, hand tools, various ladder types and sizes, blower door, insulating equipment and protective equipment Load hoppers and maintain a clean environment Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyze and resolve quality and customer service problems; identify trends; recommend system improvements Maintain professional and technical knowledge of insulation and energy efficiency Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Identify opportunities to better serve customers Qualifications High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to insulation or building sciences is preferred Building Performance Institute Building Analyst certification or experience with Energy Efficiency is preferred A minimum of one year of experience in a discipline related to insulation or building sciences is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for accurate quality control evaluation documentation and work oversight Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; familiarity of formulas within spreadsheets Ability to read plans, specifications, diagrams, equipment submittals, and material data sheets Customer service experience preferred Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle PosiGen is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
