Job Description:

Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste management in the Northeast region of the U.S., is seeking a dedicated Overnight Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our nighttime operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of operations and site management during overnight hours, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the highest levels of safety and operational excellence. Oversee the nightly operations of waste collection, transfer, and processing facilities. Manage a team of supervisors, drivers, and operational staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. Coordinate with the daytime operations team to ensure seamless transition and continuity of operations. Monitor and manage logistics and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement and maintain quality control checks to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Handle emergency management responsibilities, responding promptly to incidents and coordinating with emergency services when necessary. Prepare reports and documentation on operational activities, staffing, and operational challenges. Contribute to employee development, including training and performance evaluation. Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using logistics and operation management software Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations Medical Insurance 401k Certified Waste Management Professional (CWMP) OSHA Safety Certification
