Job Description:
A prestigious business management firm seeks a Tax Supervisor to
join their dynamic team. Qualified Individuals will help with the
preparation and or review of tax returns and assist with related
client tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong tax
preparation and tax research skills. Responsibilities: · Experience
in business management, entertainment industry, real estate, high
net worth individuals and multi-jurisdictional planning strongly
preferred · In-depth knowledge of tax concepts, related to
individuals, C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, estates
and trusts · Oral and Written Communication Skills · Fluent command
of English · Professionalism · Time Management · Excellent
Organizational Skills · Math Aptitude · Understanding of Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles · Financial Statement Analysis ·
Entity Income Taxation · Individual Income Taxation · Tax Research
· Lacerte · BNA Tax Projection · Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite, specifically Excel · Proficiency in Windows · Proficiency in
QuickBooks, along with tax preparation software such as BNA and
Pro-System · Problem Solving Skills · Attention to detail and
ability to multitask · Ability to work in a team environment ·
Self-Motivator with a positive attitude Qualifications: ·
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field and
knowledge of accounting and financial statement concepts (3.0 GPA
or better) · Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent · 8
years of related experience · Active CPA license or progress
towards CPA licensing is required · Minimum of 2-5 years of tax
experience with a public accounting firm · Experience in business
management, entertainment industry, real estate, high net worth
individuals and multi-jurisdictional planning strongly preferred
